I’ve been given a lot of cards and poetry, a lot of sympathies and hugs, a lot of nods and shared tears over the past couple of weeks. It’s been harder on other folks, I think, than myself or my family.

I’m trying to get things back into line after being away so much of May and June. It’s going to take a while, and I appreciate the private comments and emails folks have sent. Still on my low and no sodium recipe searches! I use the following spice mixes – well, the commercial ones, anwyay – regularly, and the sodium content in them is astronomical! So between google, cookbooks and fiddling around on my own, here’s my top four. Now if I could only find low-salt Frank’s Red Hot, I’d be a happy girl.
