NaNoMeals – Crock-Pot Beef Stroganoff

Crock-Pot Beef Stroganoff
1 1/2 pounds round steak, sliced thin
2 c cremini mushrooms, sliced
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1 c beef broth
1/2 c dry red wine
2 tbsp Keen’s mustard (or other hot mustard)
1/3 c all-purpose flour
8 oz sour cream
1/2 tbsp parsley
cooked egg noodles, 1 c per serving
Place meat, mushrooms, onions, garlic, salt, and pepper in the slow cooker.
Combine the beef broth, wine, flour, and mustard. And to crock and stir. Cover with the lid and cook on low for 8 hours.
Just before you’re ready to serve, stir in the sour cream and parsley. Ladle over noodles and serve.
By the end of the day you should have completed at least 41675 to stay on track.
