I started to hit on the upcoming changes a bit in my final post for 2013, and I promised a separate post to explain the details. So here it is…

As I’ll be starting on Friday, I’ll work my way through the week backwards. You’re a smart cookie, you’ll follow along fine.

Fridays – 1 & 3: Friday Five Literary Trivia
I bet there are some things you didn’t know about classic and contemporary authors. I’ll find five bits of trivia about an author, past or present, post ‘em and we’ll see who knew what all along!

Fridays – 2: Guest Blog
Pretty self-explanatory, I’ll be inviting 12 authors to write a little something inspirational, instructional, goofy or personal and post it here to the blog.

Fridays – 4: Writersphere – Monthly Writing Challenge
Once a month, I’ll post a specific writing challenge centered on short story work, and I’ll set up my contact form for folks to send it in. I’ll pick one winner from each month, and he or she will win $15 plus publication. In January of 2015, I’ll publish a digital collection of these stories through Belfire Press.

Thursdays: Writersphere – Prompts
The same as last year, visual and text prompts will be posted once a week, although I may post all visual one month and all text the next, rather than rotating. We’ll see how it goes!

Wednesdays: Recipe of the Week
Another self-explanatory title… and I’m hoping to include pictures this year as well!

Tuesdays: 52 Weeks
The same concept as last year. I’ll post my thoughts, life, advice, humor, fiction – it could be as simple as a quick update on my WriYe progress… I never know until I sit down to write it!

Mondays: Marketing Mondays
I want to give something back to the community that has given me a great deal of inspiration and support for some time, so I’m offering space on my blog to advertise, one day a week, FOR FREE. I’m hoping to have five promotional spots per post. Here’s the rules:

1) Must be for an author
2) Must for a book release, book signing, blog appearance, personal appearance, interview, Etsy shop, contests, calls for submissions, etc. All requests will be sorted through for appropriate content.
3) Request must come through the contact form, and be accompanied by a valid email address. If I can’t reach you – you’re promo gets ditched.
4) Repeats will be rotated, and I must be informed very clearly of how many weeks to run it.

Weekends: Jodi’s Stuff
This is when I get to go wild… or at least, post free fiction and other miscellaneous things not scheduled during the rest of the week.
