I’ve got a line on a submissions call, so I thought I’d add elements of what they’re looking for into the prompts for this week. Something post-apocalyptic, but touching and meaningful.

Can you take it from there?

For Journalling:

Another 10 in 10 prompt! Write out 10 famous lines from books or movies that you always remember, and how they made you feel that first time you heard them.

For Fiction:

The title: A Sinking Feeling
The genre: Post-Apoc Sci-Fi
The premise: Survivalist encounters a young child while escaping a plague-ravaged city. Does he leave him/her there? Does he take responsibility? How does the child affect his survival plan?

3000 words… and go!
