Everything is moving either too slowly, or too quickly. It’s that damn clock/calendar thing, and it’s getting on my nerves.

Time is fractious. Fickle. A two-year old throwing a tantrum. It’s far too frail to discipline and, oppositionally, too strong to fight.

I’ve been watching a pot that is taking forever to boil.

Maybe if I take my eye off of it, and just focus on something else for a while? Maybe…
