9 of 52 Weeks – Once More, Into…
A week on, and the BeeGirl and I have done what we needed to do, and after a reassuring phone call from our real estate agent today, we’re more comfortable in our decision to back out of the sale.
I admit, I will dream about that kind of kitchen for the rest of my life, but will also thank my stars that we were able to get extricated in time.
So much running around and phone calls and stuff, last week was a lot of a blur. Thankfully I could focus on a wee bit of work, and then a coffee evening with my cousin, and this weekend our chosen family came home from a three-week long vacation, so things felt right again, even though we were a bit off-balance. A coffee today (Monday) with L., J. and J. finished off the grounding that we started on Friday. Not to mention some AWESOME gifts from the Arizona/New Mexico area! I (we) finally have an enamel tea set – and it’s RED!!! I was trying not to be all grabby fingers, but the moment I got my hands on it, I checked the bottom of the tea pot, and it’s flat!! Plus so much other stuff… some I can’t (won’t) mention ’til we open them for the new house – wherever that may be. So many thanks, L. & J.!
This week is getting back into our groove, getting sorted, back to work, focused. The blog will pretty much get right again, too.
Forward, ever forward, yeah?
I didn’t allow any comments on the previous post, though I did read ‘em. Thank you, everyone… We’ll keep looking! No worries, there.
