Writersphere – Prompts – 4-2-15

2 April 2015 No Comment

Today I’m going to start posting the Writer’s Challenge that was going around Facebook a while back, one prompt a week until the end of June. The objective is to keep our muses fired up until summer, when we can all hopefully either put ‘em into overdrive, or send ‘em on a vacation.

Writer’s Challenge:

Write a short autobiography.

For Journalling:

What April Fool’s prank have you always wanted to pull off, and never have? Why?

For Fiction:

Write a story where you have the same characters but these characters continually show up in different stories. The stories do not have to be related, but have the characters connect in some way.

Can you connect them in under 3000 words?

GO!

My participation in my own sprints last weekend was pretty much nil as BeeGirl and I ended up waiting around for a NR warden to show up about a deer we found dumped in the scrub where she sets her nucs (bee mating box thingies). To me it looked like someone had been poaching, or attempting to poach. Either way, the warden eventually called and said he’d look into it.

This week, though – well, it’s Easter weekend, and while we don’t celebrate any longer, I *am* taking the weekend off from my own writing to get caught up on Belfire work. Never the less, there is always #writeclub tomorrow, and that means a whole lotta sprinting. Follow @FriNightWrites to join in the fun!

’til next time…
