No need to reply to that – I know it’s July. I know, because suddenly I have a lot of reading to do, and a lot of formatting/edits and what have you. Ya’ll are really pumping out some interesting stuff for TNBP and Necrotic Tissue!
And of course, with July comes JulNoWriMo. This year I’m doing a fan fiction cross-over to New Bedlam. The characters from my favorite PC video games (Thief, Thief 2) are coming to New Bedlam, or perhaps New Bedlam was always The City. I’m just over 12k …

There’s a whirlwind in my life, kicking up the dust and scattering bits of notes and paper and paper cups and lunch wrappers everywhere.

Waiting has never been so awful and stress-inducing. I’d like to say labor was easier… but there are far too many people out there that would probably hurt me if I did. 😉
The very first paperback Courting Morpheus to roll off the printer arrived yesterday. I hugged it and squeezed it and loved it and almost named it George. Then the girls took it away from me and put it somewhere safe, away from my crazed book-sniffing nose and spine-cracking hands. Today we show it off to family and friends …
