So, as per my agreement with TNBP’s financial backer, we’ve reached the mid-way point (actually, we’ve skidded past that and on into three-quarters) of the year. Unfortunately, ad sales were down, which put our agreement into a bit of a spin, and while the remainder of this year is covered (as well as the contest, really) after that, we’re in limbo.
Fortunately, he’s extended a further offer, so here we go on a fundraising drive! If we raise enough to cover TNBPs costs for one year – including the contest costs, …

Personal Demons
by Bryn Colvin; © 2009
This weekend, Personal Demons launches as a webcomic – www.itisacircle.com For those of you who haven’t encountered this form before, it’s basically a graphic novel that appears week by week on a website, and is free to read.
With the launch of Personal Demons, Tom Brown and I finally get to properly introduce Salamandra O’Stoat to the world. When I first encountered Tom four years ago, he had a comic underway involving experimental occultist Salamandra and her friend Owen. I became an instant fan. …

Trust Brenton Tomlinson to make me all blushy and stuff. BT has awarded me with the Kreativ Blogger award, which left me all giggly and almost speechless. And right about now, he’s spewing some form of liquid all over his keyboard while choking back the laughter.

The deal with this one is that I need to pass it on to seven other Kreativ bloggers, and post seven mystery writers. The mystery writers caused me to have a bit of a panic attack – I don’t generally read mystery. BUT, I can …

Hey folks,
I owe a couple of fairly big posts here, and due to things outside of my control (sorta) I’ve been unable to get them done… I will get my award post and my writer appreciation post done up either today or tomorrow.
I’m busy working on edits that are at the end of next week. Eeep, only 300 more pages to go! o_O
Meanwhile, I’d like to welcome Afterbirth Books to my client list for LeeLite Designs. It became official over the weekend and I’ve been working on updates for Karen …

Loreena McKennitt, the quintessential former resident of the New Bedlam area. Seriously…she was born and raised in one of the towns New Bedlam is based on. I met her once, mumbled something that sounded like “urghle”, shook her hand. I’m sure she thought I was an idiot. I have a signed picture, and a signed CD, both courtesy dear friends who manage to get to the concerts and signings. In fact, to get the CD they journeyed into the city during one of the worst storms ever.
I love them, too.
Recently, …

I just received an email from LB Goddard at The Monsters Next Door, letting me know that The Lion Roared has been accepted for publication in the special edition of the magazine, titled Road Trip.
Having first appeared on The Moonlit Path website as an honorable mention, then in Tainted: Tales of Terror and the Supernatural from Strange Publications, this’ll be it’s third publication. I’ve only subbed that story four times… it seems to be the most appreciated one of the bunch. After this my darling shall rest quietly in a …

It’s now official – the L B F in variant forms attached to my name, now stands for Lethal Bloody Flirt. And congratulations go to Heather Wildman aka Scribblequeen, for the suggestion, winning her a signed copy of Tainted! Which means she can get all cuddly with me and Will Prescott at the same time. Yea, methinks she dubbed me rightly. Hehe!
To go with this news, I want to announce that I’m back into a dark romance -no I’m not hopping the romfail bandwagon because frankly I have no idea …
