I’m going through the list of subscribed users here, and I’m going to delete all you people who don’t have sensible names beside your ridiculous email addresses. Guess what, I know you’re spammers. Guess what, it didn’t work – you can use fake to sign up here, but spam is still blocked by Akismet.

After the last virus issue, I swore I was not going to do anything else until the computer was clean. Since every other scan has been turning up something (ad virus thingies) I’ve been careful what I’m doing, and how.
Today I finished off the slush folder for Courting Morpheus – sent the rejections and the holding notices – all except two, but Kevin and Jeremy were invited authors, so they know they won’t get anything immediately. Except they read this, so now they’ll know.

This week I said goodbye to a part of my career that I loved, but obviously needed to leave behind. I made some very good friends, some which are staying with me through the transition, and some that probably won’t. I haven’t had the courage to go back to the inbox to read what they’ve replied.
