Can you see them? They fought for their home, they’re taking it back… and you just might be in the way.

Hometown boy makes good, but not even local heroes can escape New Bedlam’s most twisted resident… and Tommy Johns, star pitcher for the New Bedlam Ravens, is certainly no exception.

The first of once-monthly free fiction, we’ll start with the story of a young woman, pregnant and overdue, trying to run a small hobby farm. With the help of her family, she learns to believe in small miracles once more…

I really can’t think of anything nice or encouraging or even… well, human… today. We’ve still got snow, we’re still well below zero. Spring sprung, one day. Summer happened, one day. Then fall, and now we’re back into winter.
Instead, I’m giving you another work in progress, although this one is closer to finished than the last. I hope you enjoy, and if you’d like to leave a critique, it’d be welcome!

The author guest blog fell through for this month, so I thought I’d post a sneak peek at the novella I’m working on for the Big Bang challenge via WriYe. It’s pretty much done, but could be worked into something larger.
