When I win Lotto…

While I wait for my face to stop hurting, I’m going to quickly run through about a dozen things I’d do if I were to win LottoMax. I’ve won free plays and once actually won some cash. As a family, we decide whether or not we’ll grab a ‘quick play’ ticket maybe once every six weeks or so.

Goodbye Sweet Nyx

My sweet little rattie Nyx passed sometime this morning.
(edit – Sunday morning…)
She was so congested last night, and when I gave her a rubbing (she liked it rough, she’d boggle and brux, and then have a HUGE sneeze – often accompanied by a dribble – and she’d be breathing fine again) she wasn’t as awake as usual, but I got her to eat some soup and have some juice.
Last time I talked to the vet, she brought up the possibility that Nyx’s immune system was compromised during the spay …

Pin drops…

Isn’t this one of the most beautiful babies you’ve ever seen? Yeah, I know…most of you that come here see my stuff on Facebook, but I haven’t mentioned Miss Scarlett here yet.
This little darlin’ is my niece, Scarlett Raine, born at Ostara (March 21st for you non-pagans…lol). She was about six weeks early, so she was tiny, only just barely over five pounds. Almost a month later, she’s just over six pounds, and she’s got the strongest neck I’ve ever seen on a little one! We babysat yesterday, and …
