Ever so busy…

I’ve been keeping myself busy outside of working on the Belfire and client edits/design.
I’ve got a fairly good outline for the Imbolc chapbook, Captain Milo’s Adventures are taking shape quite nicely (even though I still don’t have an illustrator…), I’ve been doing needlework patterns and Carrie has joined me working on rat-stuff all for Etsy – and there’s some photo-manipulations I’ve been working on for ‘fine-art’ prints, also for Etsy. Rhiannon and I have both been working on book trailers, and she’s got a client booked for early 2012.

The Bell Has Rung…

Yesterday, I sent a message to Doc Pus at Library of Horror, asking some advice on what to do about the Dead Bells anthology. It’s been just over two years in the process… and with everything that has gone on in the last several months, and with Doc as well, not just me… we decided to let it go.

April showers, May flowers etc.

It’s hard for me to believe that the first week of May has already gone by. The past several weeks have been nothing short of mentally excruciating, at times feeling very much like things would never work out, would never complete, would never… just anything.
But let me just say we made it through our no-red-meat effort. We celebrated with homemade hamburgers done in Care’s convection oven, and this week we had the eye of round that had been waiting patiently for us to do it up. Almost four full days …
