I’m starting to think time isn’t as linear as it appears. I am beginning to believe it’s circular, and just like the lunar cycle, it comes back to show it’s full face.
Last spring my house was full of chaos, and due to circumstances obviously chaotic and out of our control, the spring clean and cleanse didn’t happen. It didn’t really change over the summer and fall, and we were just settling in to get it cleared out when more chaos landed in our laps. The same thing, repeating.
*le sigh*
It’s hard …

Things are liable to be sketchy around here for a while. There are some issues that need to be dealt with, and it’s going to take time away from the keyboard and work, etc. Everything is being sorted out, but my pet-project is again on hold for now.
This is a personal-ish, wandery, crazy-making post, so don’t click through if you don’t want the drama.

When it rains, it pours… and occasionally snows. The weather continues to drive me a wee bit doolally; it is, as my sister in law pointed out this past Saturday, as though Mother Nature is in the throes of PMS.
I concur.

I had big plans for April. Like, truly big plans. 75k into a resurrected novel project, 5k into short stories. A novel crit for a prize winner, edits for Belfire and submissions that are overflowing my inbox. Plus the massive house cleaning we’ve been trying to do all winter.
And then spring happened, in fits and starts, leaving snow, ice, rain, ice, snow, rain and ice all over the place. And Carrie went back to work. And Rhia’s moving into town. And… blah.

Last Saturday we took a trip into the city to look at a vehicle for my youngest, a very pretty ’97 Toyota RAV4. By the time she and our family friend/financial guru/fossil expert were finished giving it the twice-over, they’d reached a deal with the guy who presented himself as the owner, signed a purchase agreement, and left a deposit to hold it.
