*tap tap tap* Is this thing on?
I certainly hope so, even though it’s been sadly abandoned for a month. I could go into a lengthy and really rather boring explanation, but just go read the last few 52 Weeks posts, and you’ll get the drift.

Last week, I received a very large box in the mail. When I cut the tape securing the top, it exhaled in a big whoosh and part of AnimeGirl’s birthday/Yule presents poofed out of the top. Below the fluffiness was a cache of books I’ve been waiting for…

I love electricity, really – I do. I don’t so much like 100-year-old wiring, though. Knob and tube, that’s what the house inspector found in the home BeeGirl is serious about. And that means no insurance, which also means no mortgage, unless it’s fixed. Frustration level – five. Still, it’s better than the last option, right?

It’s been a busy time here; yesterday was absolutely INSANE. The rest of the week will be only marginally better, but at least I’m at my desk working for almost all of it.
